Aluminum wheels need a controlled abrasive dose and a soft landing. This catenary hook line suspends each wheel on a continuous chain, rotating it through the blast zone so every spoke and hub face is exposed evenly. Nozzle spacing and conveyor speed are tuned to the wheel geometry rather than to a generic recipe.
Why the catenary layout works
- Full rotation in the blast zone — the hook rotates the part, so one nozzle pass covers all faces and the shadowing problem of a static part disappears.
- Continuous loading — wheels enter and leave the chamber without stopping the line, which keeps throughput high for automotive tier suppliers.
- Even media recovery — the closed-loop abrasive circuit returns spent media to the separator, extends media life and holds consumption steady.
Surface result
Oxide, casting residue and paint are removed to a consistent cleanliness across the full wheel face, ready for coating or direct assembly. Final specification is confirmed after reviewing your alloy, incoming condition and required finish.
